Dumb but happy!
Continuation of yesterday’s fiasco with the hard drive failure and the loss of my trip pictues…
Well, I downloaded some freeware that recovers pictures off of camera disks. I have 4 cards, 2-2gigs, and 2-1 gigs. I was able to recover deleted pictures off of all of them, and got almost everything except Oklahoma (lots of pictues), trip 2 to Tennessee, and trip 2 to Arkansas.

Duh!
I should have known better. I DO know better. So tell me why a former IT professional (me) didn’t think to burn my trip photos onto CD from my external hard drive, especially once it started failing?
